February 2025 Update: Our manufacturer let us know that their supplier had a warehouse fire which caused a raw goods shortage for a while. It happened during 4th quarter which caused a massive increase in backorders that became a snowball effect and kept building up over time. They will be back on schedule in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, Baccarat Rouge 540 Body Formulation is on back order. The ETA on it is approximately the middle of March; however, it's possible it can arrive a little earlier as they're STARTING to get a little faster at getting orders shipped to us. What is the difference in this Fragrance Oil formulated for Body Products and the original formulation of Baccarat Rouge 540?
Body Product formulations typically have the addition of ingredients to slow the evaporation of the scent as you wear it on your body. The lab may also have different solvents for each type of formulation. They will smell exactly the same. BOTH formulations are skin safe and can be used in body products, but we recommend using the "General" formulation for candles and candle products.
You can test both formulations to find the one that best suits your needs and goals.
